Special Merchandise Order!
Want to ride in style for 2016? We are working with Primal wear to bring you custom Team Dirt jerseys and baggies featuring the Build it Ride it slogan and our hard working gnome friends.
The order requires a minimum of 15 pieces in each style, so order up! We currently have 40% of this minimum. Both the baggies and jerseys are mens cuts, but have gotten good reviews from the ladies. If there is a large interest for women specific cuts, we can plan accordingly. Baggies are $80.00 and jerseys are $60.00. This order will help fund insurance premiums and even more trail maintenance and construction! Look cool and support mountain biking in the Corvallis area at the same time!
Please contact ripleymike1@gmail.com to place orders or ask questions.

Team Dirt and OSU No Secret Agreement Complete!
No Secret Trail agreement between OSU and Team Dirt/Corvallis Community is signed!! This past month the Team Dirt board voted to approve the build agreement that OSU has worked hard on to get right for Team Dirt and all the volunteers that will make this trail happen. While significant work has already begun under a "soft" agreement, the project is now on solid ground which allows for us all to really spread the word and get more aggressive about producing results. So far, No Secret has:
The mission of this project, first and foremost, is community building and education. We KNOW that sounds familiar, or even cliche. Of course there is a rad trail to be built and that will happen. Somehow that will happen. At the end of the project we could have a rad trail AND a dynamic, new community culture.
So, what needs to happen to get us there:
-
For you to see that volunteering is an OPPORTUNITY to make a difference and make you a happier and more helpful you. No guilt or obligation, just opportunity.
-
People to come out to build and people who are interested in learning how to build.
-
People who can get excited about raising some money with their own ideas and approaches.
-
Community members putting aside cynicism (even if you think it is valid!!) so that we can create something really positive and productive. Don't complain, take responsibility (not even because it makes you a better person but because it works better).
Get in touch with Project Supervisor Dan Coyle to get involved and to get questions answered. daniel.coyle@teamdirt.org

Social Rides
Our monthly women's ride is up and rolling! We meet on the second Thursday of the month at 6:15 pm. Locations change, so look at the Team Dirt calendar (http://teamdirt.org/calendar-2/) and/or Facebook page for updated meeting times.
We would like to start a gender inclusive social ride as well, but we need your help! We are looking for members who are willing to help lead or sweep. Please contact Rheannon.Arvidson@teamdirt.org if you are interested in helping!
Hope to see you on the trails!

Alsea Falls Update
While this isn’t our favorite riding weather, the trails at Alsea are draining well and riding beautifully. Current trail work is focusing on general maintenance and winter clean up to keep you rolling on those trails throughout the year. As we set our sights to 2016, we are all about adding more fun and more trail diversity to Alsea. We are planning a cross country trail and a black diamond trail. The black diamond trail, Chutes and Ladders, will be 1/2-3/4 mile in length and offer up some gnarly technical fun! We hope that you are as excited as we are!
Don’t worry, there will be plenty of fun events in 2016 as well. We will have more shuttle days, some social rides and more skills clinics! The first Kat Sweet clinic is tentatively scheduled for May 21-22nd. Get your "time off" request sorted accordingly.
And remember - even non-Team Dirt events can help support the mission. In 2015, trail running and mountain bike events organized by Mudslinger Events/Oregon Trail Runs have raised over $1,200 to support he BLM and the Alsea Falls Trail System. Even enjoying the trails and talking them up helps spread the word. Get out there and build, ride, race, run and spread the stoke!

Corvallis Pump Track!
We want to make the Corvallis pump track a reality in 2016. We are currently planning a number of exciting fundraising events this Spring including a movie night with raffle prizes! There has been so much positive feedback from community and we believe we can raise the $50k needed.
