Unity Spiritual Center will be having a garage sale on May 14 and 15, 2021. We need volunteers to assist with set-up, sales, and closing. Please let Barbara in office know when you can help. We will begin taking donations May 1, 2021.
Who says you can’t meet new people in a pandemic? In a wise use of resources in unprecedented times, and in service to Unity communities in south Texas, Unity of Boerne has opened their weekly online meditation to collaborate with Unity of San Antonio and include other south Texas Unity communities. Meet new friends from participating Unity Centers such as Unity of the Valley, Unity of Corpus Christi, Unity of the Hill Country in Kerrville, Unity of San Angelo, Unity of West Texas, and Unity of Brownsville. Facilitators will rotate and include Birdie Shawker, Rev. Jay Mulkey, Jennifer Llamas and others. What a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and set powerful intentions in meditation for ourselves and the world. All are welcome, Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. on Zoom. Sessions are about 35 minutes long.

How to GIVE to Unity Spiritual Center in this time of "stay at home" because even though the usual "offering basket" isn't physically in front of you, the bills still are in the church mailbox and need to be paid on a regular basis...
Please continue to make your tithes by either:
1. Going ONLINE to the Unity Spiritual Center website and clicking on the "Donate" button on the top right-hand side of the website. The contribution goes through PayPal--a recognized secure site. There are several options for giving amounts OR you can choose "other" and name your own amount.
2. Mailing a check to Unity Spiritual Center; P.O. Box 3837; San Angelo, TX; 76902; or
3. Calling the office with your credit card to make a tithe by phone or come by the office. Please remember you are directed to use "social distancing" at all times.

YOU (Youth of Unity) CORNER: You may think you need to be "perfect" and not make mistakes - because mistakes can be mentally painful--to think you have flaws or can't do things correctly all the time. We have two recommendations: (1) Read " Be a Perfect Person in Just Three Days", written by Stephen Manes; and (2) watch this video. The book "Be A Perfect Person..." is in the local public library.
