Winter break is a great time to have fun with STEM.  We’ve put together a collection of great winter / holiday themed activities for the classroom and the living room.  Forward this email on to parents to keep STEM discovery going through the winter break!

Divisional Math & Science Competitions

North, south, east, west:  we do math and science best!


Get ready to show off your TAME students’ math and science skills at the TAME Math & Science Competitions. Students must compete at the Divisionals to be eligible to participate in the State Math and Science Competition on May 2, 2015 at the Lockheed Martin facility in Fort Worth. Click here to register your club with TAME and get ready to win.

If you’re already a registered TAME club sponsor, check your email for an update from your Chapter Chair on how to sign up for your local Divisional Competition. If you have not yet registered your TAME club, click here.

Whiz-kid gift ideas

Register (your TAME club) to win!

Any group of four or more middle or high school students with a club leader can form a TAME club. By registering your TAME club, you and your students gain access to the Divisional and State Math and Science Competitions and related resources. Register, prepare, compete, and win!

Just how tall can a gingerbread house get?  Check out these wonderful photos from the Seventh Annual Extreme Gingerbread Competition from the engineering students of Brown University.  Timed Gingerbread House Contests are a fun activity for TAME clubs – and they make great practice for TAME's Team Engineering Design Challenges!
