WHO? The Central Baltimore Partnership will conduct the survey working with Strong City Baltimore, Youthworks, community members and elected officials.
WHAT? The survey team will knock on 700 doors.*
WHEN? Survey starts at 10am Saturday, July 13 (Training begins at 9).
WHERE? Starting from CBP Headquarters at 25 E. 20th St, Baltimore, MD, the surveyors will fan out across Remington, Old Goucher, Barclay, Harwood, Charles North, and Greenmount West.
WHY? This survey will lead to a comprehensive redevelopment plan for six neighborhoods in Central Baltimore. It will be key to addressing important community needs such as job training, public safety, transportation, and housing across all income levels.
* The Central Baltimore Partnership will survey 6 of our 10 neighborhoods (Greenmount West, Remington, Old Goucher, Charles North, Barclay, Harwood) and knock on 700 doors in order to hear from over 300 residents about their thoughts and concerns. This survey will be used to develop a resident driven neighborhood revitalization plan that will build upon prior planning work that took place in 2011 (the Homewood Community Partners Initiative Agenda), and help guide an action plan, developed by community members, to ensure that all residents in Central Baltimore benefit from revitalization efforts.
