The week of February 25-March 1 we will welcome mural artists Anna Podris & Keith Norval to our school to work with 2nd-5th graders to create a vibrant mural that celebrates our wonderful learning community.  We are in need of some volunteers to assist the students in making a beautiful creation. If you have time to come and help with a few classes or would like to come a few days to see how the project develops, please be in touch with Ms. Magarino at  Thanks to the PTA and the United Arts Council for making this possible!

AES is hosting local scientists to share their knowledge with our students on March 6th. We need classroom volunteers to help each class move from one presentation to the next. Please click here if you can help!

Update from the PTA Advocacy Committee

Apex Elementary has had issues with its HVAC system for years. This winter some of our classrooms have experienced temperatures in the 50s. In the summer, some classrooms reached 80 degrees. Please click here to sign our petition asking WCPSS to replace our broken system!

Apex Public School Foundation

We are excited to share that the Apex Public School Foundation (APSF) will be providing another layer of support to our students, teachers and staff. The APSF is an independent, nonprofit, volunteer organization whose mission is to create and maintain a fund for the benefit of all students enrolled in WCPSS schools located in Apex. Please visit the APSF website to learn more about the foundation and opportunities to get involved.
