AIG Fall Nomination Window is open! (1st semester)
High achieving 4th or 5th grade students who are not already identified
High achieving 4th or 5th grade students who wish to add a second area of identification
High achieving 4th or 5th grade students who are new to Wake County Public Schools
Please remember students cannot be nominated in the 2018 fall semester if they were referred and tested in the 2018 spring semester.
Nominations received after the due date (October 1, 2018) may be considered the following semester for testing.
BOX TOP CLASS CONTEST
Time to start collecting Box Tops for our Fall Box Tops class contest October 8-12.The class in each grade level who collects the most Box Tops wins a COOKIE PARTY!
It is easy to participate. Simply cut out NON-EXPIRED Box Tops ON THE DOTTED LINE and place them in a ziploc bag labeled with your teacher's name. (Ask family, friends, neighbors, co-workers or anyone you can think of to save box tops for you.) Starting October 8check out our Bulletin Board in the school lobby to see if your class is winning!
NEW collection bin for Box Tops in the media center! Box Tops can be dropped off anytime, not just during contests!
Custodian Appreciation Week
In honor of Custodian Appreciation Week (October 1-5), AES would like to thank our exceptional custodians for their hard work and dedication. From spotless floors to trash disposal, AES depends on our custodial staff do a wide variety of jobs to keep our school clean and safe. Day in and day out, they arrive early and stay late to ensure that AES is a great place to learn and work. They are a crucial part of our school community.
When you see Mr. Olive, Mr. DiPrima, Mr. Guillermo or Ms. Coulter, please let them know how much we appreciate their hard work!
