	THIRTEEN BBA STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN PILOT MARKETING INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME AT EEG

	In a first-of-its-kind partnership between Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG), Emperor Entertainment Academy for Performing Arts, School of Business's Marketing Department and HKBU Alumni Affairs Office, thirteen undergraduate students from the School of Business marketing concentration get the chance to work with top industry players to promote the album launch of alumna-to-be Ms. Angela Hui in September 2016. The students are expected to be heavily involved in both planning and album promotion, guided by a star-studded panel of tutors and mentors from EEG. The panel includes artist Hins Cheung, composer Mr. Eric Kwok, lyrics writer Mr. Poon Yuen Leung, producer Mr. Harry Ng, director Mr. Wilson Chin, and veteran CEO Mr. Ng Yu from EEG. The idea of the project originated from a discussion involving Mr. Ng Yu and Dr. Melanie Lee, on the development of our current student-cum-artist Angela. The project is particularly meaningful to Angela, who gets the chance to bridge her double identity of student and artist, and work with her fellow students on her album release.

ALUMNI SHARE VALUABLE INSIGHTS INTO CAREER IN FINANCIAL SECTOR

On 3 Mar, HKBU Alumni Affairs Office organised an alumni sharing forum, with the support from the School of Business. The School's Advisory Committee Chairman Mr. William Leung, School alumna Ms. Agnes Wong and HKBU alumna Ms. Janet Chong shared with students valuable insights of their life in the financial industry.

RENOWNED STOCK ANALYST PREDICTS SLOWING GROWTH LOOMS OVER GLOBAL ECONOMY

On 15 Mar, the School of Business invited Mr. Francis Kwok, Executive Director of Bright Smart Securities Group, as the speaker of the Executive Seminar Series. The seminar was hosted by Dr. Billy Mak, Associate Professor of Department of Finance and Decision Sciences. The two experts analysed key economic indicators of a bear market in depth.

BBA HRM MENTORING PROGRAM 2015 CLOSING & 2016 KICK-OFF CEREMONY

The ceremony held on 7 Mar was attended by over 200 people, including managers, CEOs, mentors, mentees and students. The Honourable Dr. Anson Chan gave a guest sharing on the importance of English in the working society of Hong Kong.

ISEM STUDENTS SHOWCASE BUSINESS TALENT IN INTERNATIONAL IT CASE COMPETITION

Three students from the Information Systems and e-Business Management (ISEM) concentration participated in the CaseIT competition held in Vancouver from 10 to 13 Feb 2016. The team was one of the 20 finalist teams from across the globe.
