Autism Awareness Events
Please join the 282 school community this month as we bring awareness to Autism. In September, the ASD Horizon program was launched at PS282 welcoming Kindergarten students with Autism and our ASD community will grow year by year. This specialized program encourages opportunities for inclusion with the general elementary school population.

Autism Walk For Kindergarten Only*:
Friday, April 12: Due to some logistical/travel issues, the joint walk with PS307 is no longer happening. In its place, Kindergarten students will enjoy morning festivities in the auditorium and then walk to Prospect Park for a picnic lunch. PS282 + PS307 will still join forces to raise money to support the ASD Horizon program at both schools. *282 families are welcome and encouraged to join this walk, but most 282 students will not be participating. See below for our schoolwide walk.
