There is a better way
coexistence, compassion, and empathy

Hi <<First Name>>

The best way to change the world is to consistently advocate for coexistence, compassion, and empathy. As I write this, the opening of the furbearer trapping season is only 14 days away. Each year this season brings trapping and snaring incidents where the suffering is indescribable. We will always be there to help in the aftermath. We're also seizing this moment to insist that there's a better way to coexist, and it's not the long way round.

For example, on September 15th, we are bringing Dave Pauli (HSUS) back to teach trap-release techniques. Last year we had to cancel our workshops due to COVID. This year we've committed to a live-streamed webinar format that will broaden our reach. On September 7-9th we are also hosting an Untrap Pack Giveaway to remind people that carrying the tools needed to release a trap or snare saves lives. This event will also be offered online, welcoming new and existing supporters to win a free tool pack and to join us in our work. And, in a new field project soon to be unveiled, we are offering webcam viewing of one of our wild neighbors as they go about their daily business in the wild to encourage landowners to choose non-lethal methods of co-existence. Stay tuned!

While furbearer trapping season is almost upon us, so is the time of the year when your donation is matched through a community-wide event, Old Bill's Fun Run. The philanthropic couple who started this event, Mr. and Mrs. Old Bill, have doubled their annual contribution to the match fund this year. In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Old Bill's Fun Run, their gift to the match fund this year is 1 million dollars. We are beyond grateful and are celebrating this incredible anniversary with them. The 2021 Old Bill's giving season extends through 5 p.m. on September 17th. Please consider giving to Wyoming Untrapped through Old Bill's 2021 to celebrate this couple's unprecedented generosity and get your donation matched.

As always, we are grateful for your support: past, present and future,

Our WU mission is revealed in our short films.
The freedoms we enjoy do not extend to our wild neighbors.
Please join us in cultivating freedom to roam in all wild places.
