December 2021

 PRINCIPAL
TIM HELVEY

Congratulations to our students on what is almost the completion of 1st semester! I want to share my gratitude to families and teachers for their unwavering dedication to helping our students achieve their best during these challenging times. It’s easy to forget that it's been two years since a traditional school start, and getting back into the groove of full time in-person learning was an adjustment.

With this being said we still need to finish strong over the next three weeks as we end 1st semester.  This means encouraging our students to complete homework, and study hard for finals.  The end of the semester is such a critical time ensuring students receive needed credits to graduate, and also determining 2nd semester eligibility for sports.  Finals this year are on the 15th and 16th of December.

Lastly, I want to wish everyone in our school community a wonderful holiday season with family and friends.  Thanks for a great 1st semester.

Curriculum/Student Services

As this semester starts to wind down, parents are reminded to check Q for the most updated grades in each class.  Starting in January, for athletic participation, students will need to have a C average from the previous semester and will need to have passed 5 classes.

Students should use their phone or Chromebook to view their class schedule for second semester.  If there are changes needed, please see your counselor.  In the past we often passed out a blue schedule at the start of the day for the new semester, but this year we will simply use the technology for this purpose.

From the curriculum office, we wish you the best through this holiday season and we appreciate that you trust your children to our care each and every school day.  If there is anything that we can do from this side, please reach out us.
