Get health advice

The Health Advice Service provides advice and information such as: 

  • registering with a doctor (GP)  

  • vaccinations 

  • dentists and opticians

Urgent support  

For urgent Counselling and Health support, you can call 020 7514 6426 and ask to speak to the Duty Worker or email studenthealth@arts.ac.uk

In a life-threatening emergency, or if you are actively suicidal, call 999 immediately or go to your nearest Hospital Accident and Emergency department. You can also contact emergency health lines listed on our webpage

Get disability and dyslexia support

Over 3,500 students at UAL are in contact with our Disability Service. We work with students who have either been diagnosed or are seeking assessments for any impairments or health conditions that impact their day-to-day life.

Tell Someone: Report racism, bullying, harassment and sexual violence

We take all reports of racism, bullying, harassment and sexual violence seriously to promote a safe and inclusive environment. If you see or experience it, please report it through our Tell Someone form, with the option to remain anonymous.

Language Centre

Down to Earth: Nature and wellbeing

Come along to this 2-session workshop about the connection between plants, the natural world and your mental health.

Initially we will decorate a plant pot and plant some bulbs and seeds. In the follow up session we can meet together to find out how individuals are doing – sharing information on how to maintain a plant and the value of having contact with nature in our urban world.

Sign up for this 3-session workshop if you want to learn more about managing your anxiety. 

We aim to create a safe and supportive space where you can learn some proven techniques for managing anxiety. The sessions are informed by a belief that having greater insight into anxiety can help you manage the experience. Each week you will learn some techniques that you can try out and report back in the next session.
