Family Day at dlr LexIcon

dlr LexIcon January Family Day is great way to spend a cold winter's day indoors with the family in a library space surrounded by books. Lots of exciting events are planned including Street Theatre’s Amazing Circus Cabaret and Nico Brown and Martin Brunsden’s Instant Orchestra – back by popular demand! Look out for yoga storytime, art workshops, book doctors, as well as our usual lively line up of walkabout entertainment. Events will take place in various locations around the LexIcon. Full details and flier coming soon.

Join Daniel Levitin, acclaimed neuroscientist and bestselling author of The Organised Mind as he explains and debunks statistics in his new book A Field Guide to Lies and Statistics. Levitin teaches us how to effectively ask ourselves: can we really know that? And how do they know that?  He will present fascinating examples and practical takeaways and show us how learning to understand statistics will enable us to make better, smarter judgements in the modern world.

 The Spinning Heart, at dlr Mill theatre

For the attention of all readers that loved Donal Ryan's debut novel The Spinning Heart. Following a sell out run in Dublin in July 2016, the drama adaptation of The Spinning Heart returns to the stage at the dlr Mill Theatre in Dundrum from 9-14 January. Directed by Paul Brennan.
