Here we go again!

In just two short weeks over 30 colored pencil artists will once again be trekking west to my home town, Mt. Morris, just 90 minutes west of Geneva, for "An Art Beat Away" retreat.  On October 15th from 9:00-3:00, internationally-known colored pencil artist, Amy Lindenberger, will be teaching us how to render soft landscapes by combining graphite powder with our colored pencils. This is a great opportunity to learn from one of the "best in the business", so if you haven't already signed up you may register here.

And there's more!  Because we artists truly love to hang out together, you have the option of lingering longer with this group for a true Farm-to-Table dinner experience, followed by a "live radio" performance of the War of the Worlds theater production, presented by the Performing Arts Guild.  And if you are feeling a bit adventurous, come a day early for a Friday afternoon hike at Castle Rock, in Oregon.  That evening White Pines Lodge will have our table ready for the best  walleye fish fry around!!

Once again, I feel it's only fair to warn you of a few things about the Beech Tree Studio "An Art Beat Away" retreat.....
