New CTE Specialist & State Adviser

Greetings, Tennessee FBLA Chapter Advisers!
I am so elated to be the new CTE Specialist and State Adviser for Tennessee FBLA! These past few weeks have truly been a whirlwind of wonderful training experiences in my new role, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in this capacity.
I want to take this time to thank all of you for your patience during this transition. We certainly have an exciting year of awesome opportunities awaiting the students we all serve, and I am anxious to see them #CONNECT as we participate in these events over the next several months. As a former CTSO chapter adviser, I know firsthand how much hard work, dedication and time are put into managing an active CTSO chapter, so thank you for all that you do!
As always, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions at I look forward to working with all of you!

2015-16 Tennessee FBLA Membership Campaign

National Fall Leadership Conferences (NFLC)

This year, all of the divisions of FBLA-PBL will have the opportunity to embark on a journey to CONNECT at a National Fall Leadership Conference (NFLC). FBLA-PBL members are educated through professional development and career planning workshops. Great keynote speakers for the opening and closing general sessions will get your blood flowing and get you motivated to be involved with this amazing organization. Visit the exhibits for information about universities and colleges, new technologies, and fundraising opportunities.

Not a registered member? That is okay! An attendee of an NFLC does not have to be a registered member. This offers a great opportunity for recruitment. Bring your friends and let them experience just an ounce of what FBLA-PBL can offer.

Attending an NFLC will give you the chance to network with members, advisers, national staff, and national officers before the year has ended. The items you learn and take away from a NFLC will change you and your local chapter. For many FBLA-PBL members, the NFLCs are a convenient and affordable way to experience much of the education and excitement of a National Leadership Conference (NLC) closer to home. These cities are full of history and excitement, so make sure to plan a little time to go exploring as well.

The Tennessee FBLA officers will be attending the NFLC in Charleston, SC on Nov. 13-14, 2015. We look forward to seeing you there! Watch this year's NFLC promotional video for some of the highlights.

For more information and to register for this exciting conference, check out the National Fall Leadership Conference webpage.
