Online Testing for Regional Conferences

The testing window for all online testing is Jan. 11-15, 2016. Proctors will be registered through the conference registration system. Registered proctors will receive their specific log in information, proctor instructions, code of ethics form, and student testing instructions via email during the weekend of Jan. 9-10, 2016. Below are some tips to help make online testing a smooth process for you, your students, and your proctor.

  • Plan ahead. January can bring snow and illness to Tennessee. Consider scheduling your testing days early in the week to allow time for make-up sessions later in the week.
  • Work with your proctor to schedule all students. Create a master listing of who is testing when and where. Distribute this list to students, your proctor(s), and any other stakeholders in your school.
  • Check with your proctor(s) on Jan. 11 to make sure they have received their log in information. While chapter advisors cannot be in the testing room during testing, check with your proctor early Monday, Jan. 11 to ensure they are ready to go. If there are any questions, have your proctor email Steven Mitchell or Tina McNeal.
  • Encourage your students! Testing counts for at least 1/3 of your students' overall competition scores. Encourage them to do their best!
