Have your say: Draft Water Sensitive Blue Mountains Strategic Plan
Blue Mountains waterways are some of the most beautiful, iconic and highly valued in Australia. They are also under pressure – with 39% of our waterways rated in poor or fair health in 2017. This new plan aims to set the future direction of how Council manages our city's waterways and water resources. We invite you to have your say. Submissions close Monday 10 September, 2018.

'Nepean Jobs for All' gets results
A regional program has raised awareness about the benefits to business of employing people living with disability. It has also resulted in jobs. ‘Nepean Jobs For All’ was a joint project of Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury and Penrith City Councils – funded through a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Information, Linkage and Capacity building grant. Almost 200 regional businesses engaged in the project and two businesses proceeded to employ a person living with disability.
