Caribbean countries discuss Population, Youth and Development
From July 24 to 26, the Forum on Population, Youth and Development, organized by ECLAC, CARICOM and the Caribbean Development Bank, among others, took place in Georgetown, Guyana. The Forum had a large participation of youth leaders and government representatives of the Caribbean, as well as the OAS, PAHO, UNESCO, UNICEF and other international organizations. The Forum concluded with the approval of recommendations on youth employment, education and training, health and safety, political participation, among others. The OAS representative made a presentation to strengthen actions in the area of employment and education.
