A bi-weekly look at Labor Administration in the Americas
Caribbean countries discuss Population, Youth and Development
From July 24 to 26, the Forum on Population, Youth and Development, organized by ECLAC, CARICOM and the Caribbean Development Bank, among others, took place in Georgetown, Guyana. The Forum had a large participation of youth leaders and government representatives of the Caribbean, as well as the OAS, PAHO, UNESCO, UNICEF and other international organizations. The Forum concluded with the approval of recommendations  on youth employment, education and training, health and safety, political participation, among others. The OAS representative made a presentation to strengthen actions in the area of ​​employment and education.

The Future of Work was discussed in different forums
The Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Wilson Center held events and presentations where challenges and opportunities regarding the Future of Work were discussed:
The First Global Summit on Disability concludes in London
The Summit, which aimed at "the inclusion of people with disabilities in the poorest countries of the world" was held on July 24 in London and featured the keynote address by the President of Ecuador,  Lenin Moreno, as well as the Vice President of Argentina, Gabriela Michetti , who are a reference in the vindication of the rights of people with disabilities in their own countries.
