UK-China Oncology Congress Application Pack
Department for International Trade and the Science and Innovation Network, in partnership with the China National Cancer Centre, are now inviting applications for participation in the UK-China Oncology Congress taking place June 25 to 29, 2018 in Beijing and Guangzhou, China.
Organisations eligible for DIT services may now apply to participate in the UK Exhibition of Oncology Excellence, which forms the centrepiece of the Oncology Congress.

Innovation in Care - 10th Anniversary Lecture and Exhibition
Wednesday 23rd May, University of Cumbria - Lancaster Campus
This event has been designed to showcase the possibilities of technology in health and care. From 2 till 4pm there is an exhibition of organisations and applications relevant to the redesign of care and support services. At 4:30pm there will be refreshments followed by a Public Lecture by Dr Kevin Doughty, 10th Anniversary Visiting Professor for Digital Transformation of Care Services.
After the lecture there will be a cheese and wine reception hosted by Wellbeing Enterprises event sponsors. You are also welcome to attend an open meeting of iCUHTec.

UK Bio International Networking Breakfast: NHS at 70, opportunities and challenges, from tackling AMR to real world trial delivery
Mon 4 June 2018; Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks, 600 Atlantic Avenue, Boston
Speakers from the UK and US to talk about their response to the global crisis in AMR. This will include speakers from the national UK Antimicrobial Resistance Centre, and Oxford based biotechnology company Oxford Nanopore Technologies.
You will be able to network with UK companies, national stakeholders, bio-clusters and incubators. This includes Alderley Park, one of the biggest science parks in the UK, home to the UK AMR Centre as well as global industry.
Intellectual Property in Software

David Robinson and Mike Williams, partners in Marks & Clerk’s software practice group,and Lucia Caporuscio, a trademark attorney with expertise in trademarks and designs, will cover all aspects of intellectual property in software including copyright, designs and trademarks, but with a focus on the patentability of computer-implemented inventions.
