Bill Capping Regulations Reminder
Vodafone Update
 

Following the original bulletin sent to you regarding the bill capping regulations, which you can read here, Vodafone would like to remind you of the new regulations coming into force from 1st October 2018.
 

From this date, it’s mandatory that Vodafone offer all mobile customers the opportunity to limit their monthly spend. To do this they will be creating new billing functionality, allowing customers to opt in to a monthly bill cap. If the customer opts in to the cap, they will receive notifications when they reach 80% and 100% usage of their cap.
 

Vodafone has built Spend Manager, a new capping functionality, which they will be rolling out over the coming weeks. This feature is available on the Gemini billing platform only and has been built into iServe to ensure that at the point of sale we will be compliant with the regulation.
 

Please note:

Customers on the Zygo billing platform will need to migrate to the Gemini billing platform if they wish to opt in to the bill cap.

Vodafone will be in touch over the coming weeks with full details of their Spend Manager proposition.
