FESBC to Provide Additional $1M for Wildlife Habitat Projects

HCTF is pleased to announce that we have renewed and expanded our agreement with the Forest Enhancement Society of British Columbia (FESBC). In 2018, FESBC will be contributing up to one million dollars for projects that meet both HCTF and FESBC wildlife habitat enhancement goals and forest stewardship objectives. This contribution from FESBC will allow us to fund more conservation projects for the 2018-19 grant cycle.  To apply for FESBC funding for a project primarily focussed on improving forested habitat for wildlife, you will need to use HCTF’s online application process for Enhancement & Restoration Grants. Applications must be submitted to HCTF by 4:30PM on November 2nd, 2017. Read more about applying for this funding here>>

The North Island Conservation Fund (NICF) is a $350,000 fund specifically for fish and wildlife projects on Northern Vancouver Island. HCTF created the North Island Conservation Fund by matching a $174,000 creative sentencing award with licence surcharge money.
