Dear <<First Name>>,
The last newsletter I sent celebrated New York — or more specifically, my love for a city that's kept me intrigued, inspired, and in love for almost seven years now. It's why I created my Concierge service where I create customized New York experiences with the hope that you, too, can experience the city the way that I do.
Yesterday's events — which took place two blocks south from my office and a street over from my apartment — were deeply upsetting.
As I took a detoured walk home through streets barricaded with crime scene tape and filled with swarms of journalists, dizzying sirens, and hovering helicopters, it was an open invitation for me to question my love for a city that stands as a global target for those who oppose this way of life.
We've been reminded, once more, not to live in fear.
Sure, it's a challenge, but it's also a choice. And I'll always choose love over hate. I'll always choose to bring people together not apart.
And I'll always choose New York.
So keep your head up. There is too much good to celebrate.
