Tetrazolium Uniformity Working Group
TZ Image Survey

Dear AOSA Members,

The TZ uniformity working group is working on a project similar to what the Germ uniformity working group is doing.  We have collected images from volunteers (and are still looking for more).  Currently we have three classifications for the images:  species whose families are not in the TZ handbook, family is in the handbook but not that specific genus, and photos that need updating.  The goal of this project is to send TZ images to the membership for review.  The individual will select whether the picture is of poor quality and not usable, if the seed is viable, or nonviable and why.  We will then review the responses of the participants and select the agreed upon photos for incorporation into the TZ handbook.  We ask that anyone and everyone please participate in the survey.  Experience level does not matter.  We also ask that this be done at an individual level and not as a team.  We are hoping that the addition of images along with the line drawings will help increase uniformity.

Thank you in advance for your participation!

The first two surveys are over native species in the Asteraceae family.
