ETF office update

Protecting staff and service users

As you will have read in previous editions of the E-Newsletter, the Federation Office has been closed since March 2020 and ETF staff have been working from home.  This has been done to protect both staff and service users.   At present the Federation Office remains closed.  Despite this, ETF is still operating on a daily basis.  Staff can be contacted via email by clicking here or phone 0131 475 2509 and they will do their best to help you.

The Albion Trust continues to liaise with the Scottish Government, other Norton Park service users and ourselves.  We will let you know when it is safe for Norton Park to re-open.

Shelter Scotland

Building Scotland's Future Campaign

This is your final chance to sign Shelter Scotland's petition before the Scottish Parliament election on Thursday 6th May 2021.  Build Scotland's Future aims to get all the major political parties standing at the election to commit to building 37,100 social homes.  So far over 19,000 people have signed Shelter Scotland's petition calling for more social housing.  ETF has signed the petition and we would like to encourage others to do so as well as it's a hugely important issue not just in Edinburgh, but throughout Scotland as well.

You can sign a copy of the petition by clicking here.  To find out more, please email Susie Rose by clicking here or phone 0344 515 2442.

Stay safe

Take care

As the country moves into level 3 of lockdown and restrictions start to ease, it's great that we are able to think about returning to a bit of normality.  In the meantime, we would ask everyone to please stay safe and take care.  We look forward to seeing you at a future event face to face, which will hopefully be in the not too distant future.

Working online
As a result of the current circumstances, one of the biggest priorities for the Federation is online work.  Although restrictions are beginning to lift, it is likely that online work will continue for at least the next few months.  All ETF events, including the Federation, High Flats and Repairs Meetings are currently taking place on Zoom and CEC meetings are taking place on Microsoft Teams.

If you would like to take part in the meetings, but are unsure about how to access them, don't worry as ETF will be able to offer the necessary support to help you.  If you have a computer, tablet or smartphone and would like to take part or know more, please email by clicking here or phone 07918 742468.
