FROM SWEDEN
 Financial well-being is something we're all after, so congrats to Stockholm-based fintech startup Dreams Technology which has been acquired by Doconomy. In the first-ever deal that bridges the unique intersection of behavioural economics and climate impact, Doconomy will incorporate Dreams Technology's proprietary platform into its suite of environmental impact measurement tools. This will enable Doconomy to offer modules for things like climate-smart savings, debt management, and investments.
STARTUP NEWS FROM...FINLAND 
 DelSiTech has been awarded a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop controlled and sustained-release injectables for prophylactic HIV vaccines. The Turku-based startup is a drug delivery and drug development company that develops biodegradable silica-based controlled release of small molecule drugs, biologics, and viral vectors.
 Also from Finland: #Employment #exclusion is a major challenge for youth, disabled, seniors, refugees, immigrants and those who have been away from the job market for a while. This is a challenge, WorkPilots Oy are addressing head on. WorkPilots Oy - one of the first female-led tech businesses which participated in our Helsinki Female Tech Founder Frontrunners international mentoring programme - have created a simple and effective ABC-model that takes the job seeker from "Any Task" via "Better Tasks" to "Career" (ABC). WorkPilots have roled out their solution in Helsinki and a high number of additional city councils. With Denmark, facing the same employment exclusion challenges, it was obvious for WorkPilots Oy to expand to Denmark and so on 6 March, WorkPilots Oy co-founder Eija Kiviranta and her team launched in Copenhagen at a well attended event hosted by Copenhagen Capacity. Congratulations ! What an achievement.
STARTUP NEWS FROM...DENMARK 
 Landfolk, who put a Danish spin on Airbnb’s business model with their platform for holiday home rentals, has raised €3.8 million in seed funding. The funding comes from Seed Capital and is the startup’s second round of capital since it was launched in 2021 by a group of former Airbnb employees.
NEWS FROM...THE BALTICS 
 Estonian-based GreenTech scale-up Roofit.Solar has successfully raised €6.45M in a financing round led by BayWa r.e. Energy Ventures and EdgeCap Partners. The company plans to use the funds to boost production capacity and expand distribution to help meet the rising demand for rooftop solar across Europe and beyond.
STARTUP NEWS FROM...NORWAY 
 Norway Oslo-based Breyta has secured a €1.8 million pre-seed funding round backed by angel investors. Backers including Unpopular Ventures have been joined by angel investors Martin Henk, Magnus Kongsli Hillestad, Edvard Engesæth, David Clarke, and Carsten Thoma. Startup accelerator Antler also contributed to the round. Founded in 2021, Breyta is developing a collaborative CRM tool tailored for product-led SAAS companies.
 START-UP OF THE MONTH
 Congrats this month to Stockholm-based Einride for raising $652.3 Million in startup funding to support their mission. The company provides a digital logistics solution for autonomous and digitised shipping through the use of EVs and were the first to use an autonomous electric freight vehicle on a public road, back in 2019. The funding came through deals with 19 investors and the business had its last round of funding in December 2022, where it received $300 Million from Barclays.

At the "Diversity and inclusion as a springboard for innovation" event, Minister Morten Bødskov shared his visions for creating a more diverse entrepreneurial environment, Hekla Arnardóttir, Founder at Crowberry Capital spoke about her experience and knowledge of how a VC fund like Crowberry works with diversity in the portfolio, and Erik Balck Sørensen Chief Investment Officer at Denmark`s Export and Investment Fund outlined the role diversity plays in the investment environment, and how we can create a more diverse ecosystem.
