Governments of the Americas take measures to protect workers and employers from Covid-19
The governments of the Hemisphere, through their Ministries of Labor, have announced measures to protect workers and employers from the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak. Some of the measures include exceptional leave for workers that come back from zones with registered cases, guides to avoid contagion in the workplace, guidelines to implement telework, and the assignation of economic relief and flexibility in the delivery of unemployment schemes benefits.
From RIAL-OAS we make a call to all our members to keep informed on the situation in the region through the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as disseminating and following its recommendations.
