Advances in Virtual Reality see ADAPT Centre Capture 360˚ Audio and Video of Concert

Newly developed 360˚ audio and video capture technology was used to record and reproduce a recent concert performance in Trinity in Virtual Reality (VR). The newly developed video processing techniques, developed by researchers at the ADAPT Centre, aim to deliver a truly transformative experience through VR headsets such as the Oculus Rift or Google Cardboard.
