Thank you for being a PPRTA member. Your paid membership helps support our all-volunteer efforts to Educate, Advocate, and Build Community for part-time residents. We are the only organization providing a voice for part-time residents. Our strength is in our numbers, and we would not be able to do our work without you.
PPRTA has an annual renewal process and I want to encourage you to renew your membership now.
Your past membership allowed PPRTA to achieve so much. Just to name a few:
Our newsletters kept part-timers informed and safe during the height of the pandemic.
We raised the visibility of part-timers’ contributions to Provincetown.
We held frequent Zoom discussions with members and town leaders.
PPRTA speaks regularly before the Provincetown Select Board on matters you say are important.
We sponsored a members’ social gathering with our Fall Event at the Mary Heaton Vorse House.
PPRTA engages with, and supports, 40 local businesses through our Community Partner program.
PPRTA is a founding partner of the new non-profit “Friends of Provincetown Parks and Gardens”.
These significant accomplishments were only possible because of members like you. That’s why I encourage you to renew your membership.
We have much more to do such as bringing you information on:
Sewer expansion, and how to pay for it.
Broadband and how to fund high-speed internet access.
Housing proposals, including plans to build taxpayer funded housing projects.
Construction of a new police station.
Construction of a dedicated EMS station, and renovation of the existing fire station on Shankpainter Road.
And what exactly is Provincetown’s debt?
There is so much going on that affects Provincetown’s future, and part-time owners should have a say in that future.
PPRTA takes the pulse of our members to determine your priorities.
We express your priorities with Town government on your behalf.
We work with Town committees and non-profits alike to guide Provincetown to a vibrant future.
<<First Name>>, the PPRTA is the only organization that works for part-time residents, bringing us together in the spirit of community. You are a vital part of that community. We need you, so please, renew today.
As a member in good standing, you will be invited to join us at our annual meeting for a discussion of our direction. I look forward to seeing you at our Annual Meeting on June 5th, this year at the Provincetown Monument and Museum at 10:00am -- more to come on that.
Pat Miller, President
Our Community Partner businesses value Part-Time Residents as neighbors and friends and display our decal in their windows. Visit a participating business and thank them for being a PPRTA partner.
