The dynamic, nationwide network of Personal Finance teachers using NGPF resources never disappoints. We offer a few ways to collaborate with these outstanding educators and immerse yourself further in the warm and welcoming NGPF Community.
Collaborate on a "Getting Started" Virtual PD
As a relatively new member of the NGPF community, you should try to attend one or more professional development sessions in our [Getting Started] series of Virtual PDs. Each FREE, one-hour Virtual PD can be completed from the comfort of your home or school, yet is fully collaborative and discussion-based. It's a structured way to meet other FinCap teachers from around the country. On the Online PD page of our website, you'll be looking for events that look like...
FINLIT FANATICS! ON FACEBOOK:
If you're looking for ways to collaborate on the fly, our closed Facebook group FinLit Fanatics! might be for you. Carefully screened to admit teachers only, educators ask one another for advice, share best practices, upload classroom resources, and more.

Peruse the Teacher Toolkit

Finally, as you refine your usage of NGPF, we recommend the Teacher Toolkit. You must be signed in to your verified teacher account to see this treasure trove, but it's beyond worth it.
On Teacher Toolkit you'll find three sections:
  • Implement NGPF - PRO Tip videos, answers to Frequently Asked Questions, and other valuable ways to get your lay of the land
  • Brush Up on Content - A super useful Unit Content Guide for every topic, as well as recordings of our content-specific webinars
  • Classroom Instruction - Education theory and best practices around differentiation, assessment, and technology
Teaching Personal Finance with fidelity and comfort is the goal, and collaborating with veteran NGPF teachers is one of the best ways to get there.

Hope to see you in a Getting Started PD or on FinLit Fanatics this week,
Tim & Jessica, NGPF Cofounders
