  • 2017 Nonprofit Award Recipients
Dear Bank of San Francisco Family,

As this year draws to a close, we reflect on what we’ve accomplished in 2017. It has been an outstanding year, due to the extraordinary success of our clients, the hard work of our team, and the good will of our bank’s many friends and loyal supporters.

2017 Highlights
This year, Bank of San Francisco maintained its singular focus on working with and supporting hundreds of San Francisco Bay Area businesses, nonprofit organizations, individuals, and families. Whether a successful restaurant needed capital to expand to new locations, or a nonprofit needed financing to build more affordable housing units, Bank of San Francisco was there when it mattered. We were also there for the dozens of individuals and families who bought or refinanced their dream homes in this super-competitive Bay Area marketplace. That’s what it means to be a community bank.

Safe Sound and Local
Bank of San Francisco is proud to be an inaugural participant in San Francisco’s new “Safe, Sound and Local” program, which was developed and launched by San Francisco County Treasurer, Jose Cisneros, in November of this year. Per the program, $80 million of the County’s Pooled Investment Fund will be deposited in San Francisco banks, credit unions and CDFIs. Such institutions will then lend the funds out into the community to support San Francisco’s local businesses, affordable housing, and overall economy. We have pledged to lend twice the amount deposited in our bank in order to magnify the impact of the Treasurer's innovative program.

Looking Forward to 2018
We look forward to another year of exciting growth. If you want to follow our progress, refer to the new Investor Relations page on our website, where we have begun posting financial press releases on a quarterly basis. Also, keep an eye out for a larger social media presence in the months to come, and keep us in mind when you are ready to take your next big step.

Best wishes to you and yours this holiday season.
