Ahh November. Spring is in the air, the birds and bees are frolicking and #Bookstagram is awash with spring blooms. It's the time of year when we begin readying our holiday season wishlists and scramble to catch up on our Goodreads challenge. As always, we have massive releases in young adult this month, events aplenty and check out your #LoveOzYA reviews and Instagram photos.

And The Walking Dead is back on our screens. We may never recover.

Let the games begin!
Your Aussie YA Mod Squad
  • We still haven't recovered from Crooked Kingdom, but hearing that Leigh Bardugo will be writing two more books is the next best thing!
  • Word on the street is that our favourite New Zealander, Rachael Craw (author of the Spark trilogy) will be on our shores for the  2017 Reading Matters conference. Fingers and toes crossed that we'll get the chance to meet her outside of this!
  • Enter this massive Gemina competition where you can have your name in the next Illuminae book, lots of book prizes and an exclusive dinner with Jay and Amie! Thanks Allen & Unwin!
Aaand it's time for the reveal of the last two new challenges for the year! How time has gone by. Good luck to everyone who might be sitting final exams in the next month, either for school or for university or for whatever else! (I know I need it haha)

So without further ado, the November challenges:
C39: Read a high fantasy novel
C40: Finish all revealed challenges (tiered + bonus)

Haha yeah I realise C40 is quite difficult! That's why it's there; a reward for those crazy people who have been so enthusiastic with the challenge! ( I mean crazy affectionately :P )

There's still plenty of time to join in if you'd like to! Check out the list of main challenges and rules here.
