Allan and I greet you in the precious Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As you may know by now my dear husband recently had a heart attack and a week later had triple bypass surgery. We want to thank everyone for their heartfelt prayers and thank God for being with us through it all. Allan and I receive virtually all of our financial support from his many speaking engagements where he preaches the Gospel message. We live by faith and have for the past 30 years. Since Allan will need to slow down and rest and heal from the surgery, would you consider financially supporting us at this time of need. We have many financial needs that go beyond our personal expenses: the church, the K-12 school and the bible school. A total of $30,000 would go a long way in helping to keep on top of our bills and expenses. Donations made to Almond Tree Ministries are tax deductible and you can give online through our website or donate “personal gifts” through GoFundMe. Also you can donate by cheque made out to Almond Tree Ministries addressed to PO Box 626, Canora, Saskatchewan S0A 0L0. We thank you for your prayers and financial support over the years and thank you in advance for supporting us during this difficult time.
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Psalm 34:8 NKJV God is with us always; even through difficult times and we are as excited today as we were 30 years ago when we began this ministry. I remember Allan & I standing on the land beside the Key First Nation (above) where we are presently located and there was nothing but pasture land. No electricity, no water; nothing but grass, birds, insects and mice, but God had given us a vision! Today as we look over this pastureland, with God’s help and your love, support and encouragement, there are homes, a church, a bible school and dormitory and a school for children from Kindergarten to 12th grade. People visit here from all over the world. They come to teach, preach, heal, deliver and bless us and they come back again and again. God sends them, you know! We love what God is doing!
Prison Ministry - Allan and I have been blessed to be able to visit regularly in the prisons this fall at Regina Correctional and Saskatchewan Penitentiary in Prince Albert. Please pray for these inmates. Christmas time is especially difficult for them and their families. May mercy and grace abound!
Again this year we are doing the Christmas Outreach Program on the Key First Nation. We have been blessed with 700 Club Canada partnering with us. They believe in our ministry and they are praying God will use us mightily in reaching the First Nation people. They are a great encouragement to us! As in other years we will provide gifts for over 100 children and turkeys, hams and food boxes for the families as well as children’s Christmas treat bags. Our Christmas concert will be held on December 9th and all are invited. Bring your friends; bring your enemies. What a perfect time of year to spread the love of Jesus to others!
ATMBI – Almond Tree Ministries Bible Institute began classes September 6th. ATCA – The students from K-12 have also been blessed with the bible school presenters. The presenters have the opportunity to share a message with the students in their morning chapel service as seen in photo above. Students & staff have had a great fall! We praise God for His love and protection.
Pastor Allan & I made a trip to Fredericton NB this fall to visit our dear friends Don & Joy Nash. We also ministered, with the help of the Holy Spirit, on the St. Mary’s First Nation and the Word of Faith Church. Allan & I met Chief Candace Paul of St. Mary’s First Nation (in photo above). She was a blessing to us and we hope she will visit the Key in the near future.
