Tuberculosis still remains a global challenge to public health throughout the world. Poor adherence to treatment remains a significant problem that prevents countries from obtaining high treatment success rates essential for health systems to control the epidemic and decrease the spread of the disease.

In 2016, Curatio International Foundation conducted a qualitative study to investigate factors that enhance or hinder treatment adherence among Drug Resistant TB patients in Georgia. The study revealed various factors affecting treatment adherence among patients. Read more>>
Transition Preparedness Assessment

The sustainability of national HIV and TB programs has gained importance in light of the recent changes in the global health landscape. This is especially true when external funders are redirecting their resources to poorer states. Informational directory about CSOs working on Tuberculosis

To support CSOs working on Tuberculosis-related issues, CIF inventoried all civil society organizations working within this sphere. The project Challenge Facility for Civil Society (Round 7) was financially supported by the Stop TB Partnership. Within the framework of this project, the TB CSO informational directory was developed, and is now available on the CIF website. If you are a master’s or PhD student, CIF invites you to participate in our summer internship program through, which runs from June-September, 2017.
