What a great year it has been, thanks to the help and support from all of you! We are blessed to have such a strong community assisting in our efforts to make this Island a better place for all species.

Each year we plant thousands of native plants, inspire hundreds of students and provide countless opportunities for Islanders to fall in love with forests.

So thanks to everyone who joined us for a walk or a talk, helped us with our restoration plantings, or helped fund our efforts.

Over the last 25 years, the Macphail Woods Ecological Forestry Project has become a fixture on the Island. We continue to make significant contributions in the areas of ecosystem restoration, nature education and the propagation of rare native plant species.

And we've got big plans for the next 25 years that include healthy, diverse woodlands and a thriving, sustainable forest industry.

In our vision beautiful handmade crafts, sustainable fuelwood and rewarding careers go hand-in-hand with enhancing biodiversity, improving wildlife habitat and restoring environmental health.
