Dear <<First Name>>
Two important updates for you this month. Short, sweet, and necessary.
The forthcoming implementation of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation, AVR in Dutch), will not have escaped you. As entrepreneurs, with mailing lists, and personal data of clients/contacts attention will need to be paid to this. The review of our last networking event on this subject
, should answer many questions. Thank you Lisa Hall
, of Lemonberry
, for swiftly and ably capturing the information shared by Bineke Braat
of Legaltree IT Law
Speaking of GDPR, we too, at the WBII need to update our lists. Please, take a moment to update your own profiles, and consent to allowing us to continue sending you our newsletter in the future. See below. Without your consent we will be obliged to delete you from the list shortly after 25 May, and will not be able to update you on our networking events, professional development workshops, member news and more.
This is my last newsletter. It has been my immense pleasure being able to support the WBII in this way in the past few years, and I am delighted to say Jane Pocock
of Write it Right
will take over the helm. Look forward to her introduction in the June WISE.
Thank you, and wishing you all the best, until we meet again,
Deborah Valentine, Editor The WISE
