Upcoming Classes, Volunteer Day, and Series:
"GET ACTIVE" Farm Day at SMARTS Farm at The Orchard.

Two-hour workshop touching on vermicomposting, building a worm bin, gardening, and arts & crafts to help students "Get Active" during their school break.

Details:

  • February 12th, 2020
  • 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
  • Students will create a healthy farm fresh lunch.
  • Registration closes on February 9th, 2020. 
  • Price per child: $30 per kiddo (price includes lunch and take-aways)

Spring into Spring - Farming & Culinary Series

Your young farmer will kick-off Spring with a breadth of information to help around your home vegetable garden. Spring into Spring activities: growing veggies, learning about good soil, vermicompsting & compost, propagating special plants, and seeding and harvesting.

  • February 20, 2020 - April 16, 2020
  • 3:15 pm - 4:30 pm
  • 5-14 years of age
  • Price per child: $220
