It's been a damp week in London but it hasn't stopped play as I've visited a secret WW2 bunker (at last), reviewed an Italian restaurant near Trafalgar Square, tried cocktails at London's first Polynesian-themed bar which opened 50 years ago, taken part in a workshop at the Museum of London trying to predict what The City will be like in 2050, and I went to a pre-preview of an exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery.


Not only is this a great pizzeria just off Trafalgar Square, there's this stunning light too. Read my review...

This damp, underground warren was intended for use by Churchill and his War Cabinet.

As part of the 150th anniversary celebrations, John Lewis on Oxford Street has a roof garden open to the public. (more info)

June in London

The Week Ahead
I have a theatre trip planned and am staying at a luxury London hotel this weekend. And I'm taking my daughter as she loves fluffy white bathrobes as much as I do.
