Delivering On Universal Health Coverage:
Why The Time Is Now

Monday, September 22, 2014 at 6:00pm

Dear Friend,

Join global health leaders for a discussion on the urgent need to enshrine Universal Health Coverage in global development goals, and to turn our commitment to action.

Since the UN General Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution endorsing Universal Health Coverage in 2012, countries across the income spectrum have embraced reforms to expand access to affordable, quality health services as a pathway to end poverty and boost economic growth.

The transition from the Millennium Development Goals to the post-2015 development framework presents an opportunity to capitalize on this momentum and ensure that the poorest and most marginalized populations can access essential health services without suffering financial hardship.

What: Delivering On Universal Health Coverage: Why The Time Is Now
When: September 22, 6:00-8:30pm
Where: The Rockefeller Foundation, 420 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY
