|Dear <<First Name>>,
Digital has become a leading challenge and opportunity for more and more sectors and organizations. True to our entrepreneurial heritage, INSEAD has moved enthusiastically to address this fundamental shift in business and society. We have both deepened our expertise in the digital transformation of organizations and developed cutting edge capabilities in online learning. These new capabilities create a wonderful opportunity to partner with the INSEAD Alumni Association to expand the life-long learning offerings to our global alumni community - starting now:
I am writing today to let you know that we will be launching our new online course Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption for alumni in January 2017 and that we are seeking a group of pioneers to participate in an alumni Beta test of the course this Fall.
The last several years have seen growing activity in online education. Rather than joining public platforms for MOOCs (massive open online courses), we have been pioneering highly impactful and customized courses for leading corporate clients. Our online courses are composed of bite-sized videos filmed at INSEAD, interactive modules including discussions, reflections and quizzes, periodic faculty interactions and close guidance from a learning coach. Most importantly, you can apply your learning back to your sector and organization in a supportive and risk-free environment in an action-learning project.
Over the last two years of online development, we have focused on digital business topics and clients, with six courses for Microsoft and Accenture Strategy - for whom we have now educated over 10,000 employees. With very strong results in terms of completion rates, participant assessment of content relevance, and measured business impact, we won numerous awards for learning innovation in 2015 and 2016. We are now starting to roll out versions of our online courses that are open to the global community of executives, starting with Strategy in an Age of Digital Disruption this coming January. This course is part of a new family of executive education programmes that address today’s challenges of Digital Transformation and Innovation with both online and in-person delivery.
This fall, starting September 30, we are running a Beta version of this online programme open exclusively to 50 Members of the INSEAD Alumni Associations. The fee for the Beta is €750, which is 50% off the public price. In addition, we will refund a further €500 for those that successfully complete the course and provide us with feedback. We are also working with the International Alumni Association to create events focusing on digital disruption in a number of countries around the globe to be held in conjunction with the programme. If you are interested in participating in the Beta for Strategy for the Age of Digital Disruption, please fill out this short application form and email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis starting 10 August.
Times are changing for all of us and management education is no exception. As tech opens up wonderful new possibilities for online education and knowledge sharing, it is increasingly clear that INSEAD’s next campus needs to be digital. Please consider joining me and other alumni in co-creating this new experience.
