Squash Clinics - Eastlink Centre

Edmonton Squash Pro and Level 3 Coach Jeff Williams will be in Grande Prairie doing clinics for juniors, ladies, referees, beginners as well as private lessons at Eastlink Centre on December 11 & 12th

Jeff Williams has played the game of squash since he was 9 years old at the Glencoe Club in Calgary. What started as an after school activity quickly grew into a lifelong passion for Jeff.  Jeff’s early success include competing with the Calgary team at Alberta Winter Games and winning gold in 1992.
Upon graduation Jeff continued to pursue squash by obtaining certification as a squash professional. He is currently NCCP Level 3 certified and is working towards Level 4. Jeff also received his Sports Administration Diploma from Mount Royal College in Calgary. In 1998 he moved to Edmonton to become the Head Squash Professional at the Harley Club. He remained in that position until 2001 when he moved to the Royal Glenora Club as Associate Squash Professional under Ian Paton. He became Head Squash professional at the RGC in 2008.

When Jeff became the Head Pro at the RGC his mandate was to bring Professional Squash to Edmonton on an annual basis. The Edmonton Open became the Tournament of the year in Edmonton for individuals to  compete in their own events but also to watch the Pro’s compete for a full week in Edmonton. Jeff is very proud that the Pro tournament took place every year and hopes that the tradition will continue with the Edmonton Open and RGC.
Jeff lives in Edmonton with his wife Nicole and their son Gabriel and chocolate lab Indy. When he is not on the court Jeff enjoys golf and biking.
