CLASSICAL SUNDAY SALON: CHAMBER MUSIC, WINE, AND CHEESE
Classical chamber music as it was meant to be heard: in the intimate setting of an elegant home. MSC parent musicians Maureen McDermott, Artie Dibble, Laura Frautschi, Beverly Au, Michael Sanita, Alan Moverman, Mary Jo Pagano, Basia Blonska, and Christoph Franzgrote will take a break from the New York Philharmonic, the New York City Ballet, Orpheus Chamber Orchetra, and more to offer us a diverse concert of classical music. Afterward, enjoy wine and cheese with the musicians.  Hosted by MSC 8th grade parents Mary Jo Pagano and Marty Toub. Don’t miss this 8th annual (and final) special event at the Pagano-Toub household!

Monday, June 1:
MOTHERHOOD UNDEFINED: A ONE-WOMAN SHOW
Stacie Morgain Lewis, Broadway veteran and kindergarten & 2nd grade mom, presents a new work in progress, Motherhood Undefined, a solo piece that explores the boundaries between creativity, performance, and parenting. Through story and song, we examine universal themes of change, vulnerability, and letting go of what we’ve previously defined ourselves to be.  Hosted with wine & light fare by 4th grade parents Chris and Susan Doeblin at the Columbus Avenue Book Culture.
Monday, June 1, 8 pm. Book Culture, 450 Columbus Avenue. $40

Monday, June 8:
JAZZ MASTERS: MSC DADS’ ALL-STAR JAZZ BAND
For the past few years, MSC dads and world-class musicians Chris Washburne (trombone) and Dave Mann (saxophone) have assembled incredible lineups of musical talents for special one-off performances just for MSC. They will reprise their smash hit concert this year with yet another super group, including renowned violinist Gregor Huebner. Bring the whole family and enjoy a night of jazz with the greats! Bier International owner and 2nd grade dad Chris Pollok offers 10% back to MSC of any drink/food purchases that night!
