ALICE renewal of the Executive Group
Within our last Plenary Meeting in Graz, 7th of July, the New ALICE Executive Group was elected for a 2 years mandate. Sergio Barbarino (P&G) continues as Chair of ALICE together with Rod Franklin (KLU) and Pablo Gómez (FM Logistic) as Vice-Chairs. In the leadership of the Working Groups: Vicente Del Río (Port of Valencia), Nik Delmeire (ESC), Dirk `t Hooft (Argusi) and Karine Boucheri (FM Logistic).

Austria shows strong strategy and support to Physical Internet

The organization of IPIC 2017 in Graz, Austria, allowed all Physical Internet Community to experience and be delighted on the strong support and commitment of Austria and its Goverment towards strategic development of Logistics and the Physical Internet. You may have a look to their Vision explained in a video by the Austrian Federal Minister for Transport, Innovation and Technology. Interreg National Contact Points (NCP) within Flanders Innovation and Entrepreneurship call upon all interested parties with knowledge of advanced project ideas in the field of transport and wishing to work together in supporting related consortia towards a possible Interreg application. We call our members and interested parties to collaborate with 2 research projects by providing input to associated surveys that will take not more than 10-15 min. each:
  • "Research on the Physical Internet - Status Quo and Future Research Directions" [More info...]
  • The Mobility4EU project ( liaised with ALICE and funded by the European Commission aims to develop a vision and action plan for mobility and transport in Europe in 2030. [More info...]
