Services provided include:
- Customised validation and conformity test tools – e.g. IHE Gazelle test management software.
- Organising test sessions and demonstrations – including the annual IHE-Europe Connectathon.
- Training and consultancy on implementation of the IHE Profiles across many healthcare IT domains in the beneficiary’s projects and programs.
- Through development of the Gazelle open source software development community – Community Edition there is also now a Gazelle Enterprise Edition.

IHE-Services leverages a rich community of hundreds of implementers from around the world and experience from working with many important stakeholders, including national governments, regional initiatives and public and private healthcare providers.
IHE-Services frequently works with the support of Kereval, a French leading independent engineering laboratory renowned for testing excellence; Kereval is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited for IHE conformity assessment and interoperability testing for national e-health projects, regional hospital networks and vendors.

Recent Successes
- Contract with French InteropSanté to provide a platform for testing the French extensions of the IHE Patient Administration Management Profile. New test tools and plans are being developed and incorporated into the Gazelle system provided to InteropSanté.
- Contract with the EU Commission DG Santé concerning a Load and Security Testing Assessment of the openNCP platform – an open source framework developed during the epSOS project now planned to be used in national cross border healthcare environments.
