It is now just a matter of days to go before the IHE International’s second World Summit opens in Amsterdam at the Beurs van Berlage convention centre.
Organised in conjunction with European eHealth Week, the World Summit commences on Tuesday, 7 June with two outstanding Keynote presentation:

9.45AM Mariann Yeager (CEO Sequoia Project): eHealth Exchange Network in US – Bottom-up Complements Top-down?
Day one further includes Panel Discussions covering:

National eHealth Interoperability Innovations and Strategies.
Driving Clinical and Business Intelligence Using Data Mining on a Document Sharing Infrastructure.
Wednesday 8 June - day two - includes Panel Discussions covering:
Patient Summary – What is it? and How is it used?
IHE Conformity Assessment Testing In a Global Context.
Road to Interoperability in Global mHealth Innovations.
Day two also covers two Keynote presentations:
12.45PM Gerald Cultot (DG Connect, European Commission): eHealth Interoperability - a European Perspective. (This is with particular reference to the EU recommendation of 27 IHE Profiles and the expected impact on Europe).
17.00PM Michael McCoy (IHE-International Co-Chair): Closing Keynote, Wrap-up and Summary.
