IHE-Europe NEWS Pulse
Dear Members and Friends,
Just one month to go... until registration opens for the 2017 IHE-Europe Connectathon in enchanting Venice, 3-7 April 2017. One month for vendors large and small, preparing themselves, to say YES to the Connectathon!
The structured environment enables peer-to-peer testing using real-world clinical scenarios and following
IHE Integration Profiles specifications. Demonstrate YOUR company’s commitment to interoperability by attending

Following a successful Bochum IHE-Europe Connectathon and support programme, Claudio Saccavini – principal organiser – with his Arsenàl.IT team and IHE Italy are working on an extensive programme of parallel international and national interoperability events, including the IHE Europe Symposium. Plus affiliated meetings of national/regional working groups on eHealth as well as European Commission projects.
European / regional projects will perform a Projectathon testing their interoperability-based on IHE Profiles. Building on activities from the 2016 Connectathon and new eHealth projects requiring end-to-end testing prior to actual deployment.

It promises to be a spectacular week bearing in mind that the European Commission not so long ago sent a strong message to all Member States that 27 IHE Profiles are eligible for referencing in public procurements as technical specifications.
If you want to know more, read the 2017 White Paper on the IHE-Europe Connectathon whether your company is a regular participant, or a new one considering attendance. You will find information about the IHE Profiles, including those for mHealth based on HL7 FHIR, across the appropriate Domains.

Sincerely
IHE-Europe Team
