Dear Members and Friends,
We trust that you enjoyed the traditional Christmas and New Year season and that you are back with renewed vigour and ‘champing at the bit’. Why? - The IHE-Europe Connectathon, and its associated interoperability seminars, is approaching in spectacular Venice, 3-7 April 2017. The venue chosen is particularly photogenic and offers vendors many business benefits. Connectathon registration has been open since 1 December 2016; many have already registered. You have until 16 January 2017 and there are good, solid reasons to apply. PLUS there are still a number of ‘newcomer packages’ at preferential prices available.
Previous Connectathon attendees will already be aware of the benefits that Connectathon attendance can bring and the importance attached by governments and healthcare providers to recent Connectathon participation - invariably as a pre-requisite for tender progression.
Establish vendor competency in eHealth and mHealth interoperability.
Buyers use the IHE Product Registry to identify vendors whose products support IHE Profiles; Even more important following the European Commission’s endorsement of 27 IHE Profiles. Their usage in public procurements is now well established.
Reduce development costs – 5 minutes of testing can save months of in-company effort and will help avoid integration issues at customer sites.
Participating vendors will also have the opportunity to organise their own ‘by invitation’ parallel meeting/event in the Port’s Terminal, adjacent to the Connectathon, and enjoy VIP tours of the Connectathon floor. For further information, please contact us.
Don’t underestimate the value of Connectathon attendance in terms of networking with like-minded organisations and peers, the opportunity to discuss technical matters with industry specialists, fellow stakeholders, leading experts in interoperability and the renowned IHE Monitors – worth the attendance fee alone!
