Dear Members and Friends, IHE-Services is the dedicated, operational arm of not-for-profit IHE-Europe. It has experienced major growth through supporting deployment projects, across Europe and beyond, that require focused expertise and tools to accelerate their interoperability strategies.
These support services are available to all organisations in health IT systems and focus on the customisation of interoperability testing for hospitals, regional and national eHealth networks and those vendors developing new software platforms.
New collaborations have started successfully with vendors (GE, Agfa), eHealth National Competence Centers (Finland, Luxembourg, Switzerland), Regions (Brussels, Veneto), IHE National Initiatives (IHE-China, IHE-Japan) and other organisations including the US Sequoia Project, InteropSanté in France and the cross-border Healthcare Digital Services Infrastructure (eHDSI) of the EU Commission.
With such a broad customer base 2016 has been an important year for IHE-Services which has:
Initiated a stable and maintained enterprise edition of the IHE Gazelletest platform, adopted by an additional 10 distinguished organisations.
Assisted various eHealth projects to support new use cases and develop corresponding new interoperability specifications based on standards and profiles.
Provided high-quality training services via partners and collaborations.
Organised several IHE Projectathons and other testing events.
All parties interested to learn more about efficient testing should consider visiting the upcoming IHE Connectathon in Venice, with a packed support programme including:
Education and networking with peers at the IHE Symposium April 4.
Taking a Connectathon VIP Tour to witness live testing.
Participating at an IHE-ServicesQ&A session across the lunch break – April 5, ask questions and learn how to deliver higher-quality interoperability.
