Dear Members and Friends, Registration for the 17th IHE-Europe Connectathon 3-7 April 2017, in the romantically beautiful city of Venice, is formally OPEN - until 16 January 2017.
Organised by IHE-Italy, in cooperation with Arsenàl.IT and Regione Veneto, the European Connectathon will take place against some of the world’s most idyllic scenery.
The five-day connectivity marathon provides the opportunity for Healthcare IT software vendors of all sizes, and other organisations, to test the interoperability of their products and solutions using IHE Profiles in a structured and controlled environment alongside peer vendors.

New for 2017 – Participating vendors or other organisations will have a unique opportunity to organise their own, by invitation, meeting/function/event overlooking the fabulous Venice waterfront with the Connectathon floor as a backdrop. For details see the Functions Participant Package brochure... BUT Hurry there are just a few daily slots available.
IHE Projectathons for European and regional projects will test their interoperability credentials based on IHE Profiles. Likewise a number of parallel national and international events will feature health and social care interoperability – watch this space for further details on all these opportunities.
2017 will see IHE Profiles from the following Domain Technical Frameworks available for testing:-
• Radiology
• IT Infrastructure, including IHE Profiles for mHealth.
• Cardiology
• Pharmacy
• Patient Care Coordination
• Laboratory and Anatomic Pathology
• Quality, Research and Public Health
