Registration for the 16thIHE-Europe Connectathon is now officially open until 15 January 2016.
Organised by IHE-Germany in cooperation with ZTG (Centre for Telematics and Telemedicine) the European Connectathon promises to be an outstanding week.
The five-day connectivity marathon is a unique opportunity in Europe for large and small vendors and other organisations to test the interoperability of their products.
Connectathon success is a precondition to participation in the international Conformity Assessment as well as in Public Demonstrations such as conhIT and eHealth week.

In parallel, a comprehensive programme of regional, national and international events focusing on policies and deployment initiatives for eHealth interoperability is being organised - precise details to be announced soon.
Select one or more IHE Profiles to test at the IHE-Europe Connectathon, from the following Domains:
IT Infrastructure, including IHE Profiles for mHealth.
Patient Care Coordination
Laboratory and Anatomic Pathology
Quality, Research and Public Health
The 2016 Connectathon White Paper contains details of the Domains and Profiles and what’s new for the 16th IHE-Europe Connectathon.
Interoperability testing based on IHE Profiles is now seen as crucial following the recent decision by the European Commission announcing that “27 IHE Profiles are eligible for referencing in public procurements as technical specifications”. Public and private tenders frequently specify recent attendance at a Connectathon.
