Kampong spirit takes root at

A Flourishing Garden at Block 5

Since the beginning of this year, residents from Delta Avenue have been lovingly tending to a garden plot outside block 5.
Called the Goodwill garden, the patch is now full of healthy flowers and plants. A group of about 10 gardeners tend to the garden almost every day, and meets every Friday to discuss how to improve it.
Says a resident gardener, Molly, “We love coming together to grow the plants and help the community”.

Cool Homework Café

Our Homework Café, in partnership with Mendaki, parents, and residents from the community, kicked off officially on 1 August.

Children from the neighbourhood come together twice a week to do their homework under the guidance and motivation of tutors and youth mentors in a relaxed cafe setting.

As part of the learning kampong, these adult residents/parent volunteers of different ethnicities and social class also learn alongside the young ones.

They all come together to receive and give back as one community.
Support our Charity Dinner 2014

Our very first charity dinner will be held on September 11 at the Shangri-la Hotel, jointly organised with Beyond Social Services and Babes.

Funds raised will go towards helping thousands of families and children.
Tables are available for sponsorship at $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000.
Other donations of any amount are very welcome.
