Can you believe school holiday's are starting this week, and it's EASTER?! One term down and fingers crossed we'll get to see the year out with continuing COVID normal. The outbreak in Brisbane is a good reminder that this is far from over. Also a great reason to stay local these holidays... check out our School Holiday Guide for what's on around the Peninsula. Play School Concerts

Everyone's favourite children's television show Play School is coming to Frankston with a brand NEW concert Let's Play Together.

The concert is presented by two Play School presenters Alex and Kaeng, along with everyone’s favourite Play School toys.

Set in the Play School games room, the two Presenters and helpful Toys discover different coloured boxes are filled with surprises. Filled with the adventures of imagination the show will take children across the sea, up in the sky and over the moon.

Learn to skate at Sk8house this school holidays!

With EIGHT CLASSES per week to choose from, you can start with the ‘FUN-damentals’ of skating at Learn-2-Sk8 or Beginners Speed Skating classes. For even better value you can add on a $5 BONUS General Session along with a Sk8 class to give you up to five hours skate time for just $20 – skate hire included.⁠

Easter Holidays are here and so is arty crafty fun

Take off your socks … they’re making creatures! Bookmarks & puppets ... it’s all in the cutting and folding! Get wild with wool - Here we go! Around & around. Voila! you’ve just pom-pommed! Shape and glue and sew and bake - to make an ornament, key chain or bag tag! It’s all great fabulous creative fun! Where will your imagination take you?

Daily 9.30 - 11.30am Wed 7th - Fri 16th April.
Bookings essential - small groups. All ages and skill levels catered for (min 5 yrs).


MPRG School holiday workshops!

Make your own migratory shorebird
Creative workshop with MPRG artist-educator Jill Anderson - Tuesday 13 April, sessions for 5-8 and 9-13 year olds. Be inspired by how other artists have celebrated our amazing shorebirds and make your own flock.

I Dream a Flyway - Wed 14 April, 10am, 8-12 yrs
Through collage and drawing make an exciting Flyway journey, with Overwintering artists Kate Gorringe-Smith and Helen Kocis Edwards.

Miniature worlds - Thursday 15 April, 10am
Real, imaginary and digital drawing from nature with Overwintering artist Heather Hesterman. BYO smartphone.


Circuit Breakers

Dance, music and light under the sculptures - a stunning dance experience!

Friday 9 April, 6:30PM
Saturday 10 April, 1PM + 6:30PM

Experience the sculptures of McClelland come to life in this innovative contemporary dance performance - featuring eight new dance works produced by the young artists of Spark Youth Dance Company. Circuit Breaker is a limited season inviting audiences to experience artworks at McClelland in a completely new light as audiences move through the park to find and watch the dance works.



April Fast Track Program!

Kingswim Mornington's Fast Track Program is a great way to fast-track a child’s swimming skills. It is a well-researched fact that a short burst of intensive learning accelerates motor skill development.

Date: 6 - 9 April - 1 week only!
For ages 3 years plus
1/2 hour lesson on each of the 4 days
Same convenient time each day
Accelerate your child's water skills
$60 for the 4 day program

Fast Track is open to all families, whether they are already in the Kingswim program, swimming somewhere else, or are new to swimming altogether. 


Looking for fun kids activities in Mornington these school holidays?

Get them to try out this fun art class with Colour Your World ART, where they can truly express their creativity! Your child will learn how to paint their very own masterpiece while they have loads of fun and gain new skills in the process.

April Dates & Times: Wednesday April 7th, Thursday April 8th, Tuesday April 13th & Thursday 15th.
Times: 10am - 12.30pm or 1 - 3.30pm.

Chocolate Grove Easter Carnival!

Chocolate Grove have launched a whimsical Easter Egg Hunt Kit, with 50 milk chocolate 17g eggs and 3 Bunny Feet signs and comes in a big bucket. The family pet doesn't miss out either! 'Deggs' (dog eggs) are a 5 pack of dog-friendly Easter Eggs made from carob, completely safe for your beloved pooch.

Of course there's all the usual Easter favourites too, including a new Salted Caramel 130g Chocolate Egg, hot off the production line.
